October is Black History Month, with various events being held across the University. Black History Month celebrates and commemorates the history of the African and Caribbean communities and their diasporas. EREN The Edinburgh Race Equality Network (EREN) is a network for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff and allies committed to creating an environment where race is celebrated, and everyone is treated fairly. EREN are launching their Book Club on the 13th October - please register by Sunday 4th October. The talks will take place every Tuesday in October from 1.15pm to 2pm.
