Visitors can tour the building including our stunning new social space incorporating the School of Chemistry museum, and family drop-in activities (suitable for all ages) let you explore our research and meet our chemists. After being the base for several different institutes since the 1960s, the Roger Land Building has recently been renovated to house researchers from our School of Biological Sciences, who will be present to engage visitors with interactive activities and displays based on our exciting research. Consequently, the facility is much in demand by industry and researchers from across the globe helps maintain Scotland’s position at the forefront of clean ocean energy research, development and innovation. Visitors will see a large variety of vertebrate and invertebrate specimens including dolphin, elephant seal, and anteater samples.
