Academics Unplugged - Dr Baojun Wang Image Dr Baojun Wang, School of Biological Sciences Cells live in an ever-changing environment and continuously sense, process and react to surrounding biochemical signals using their inherent sensors and gene regulatory networks. In this respect cells can be viewed as living, replicating computers with unlimited potential. In this talk I will introduce the design of novel customised biological circuits for the sensing and computing of multiple cellular and environmental signals, with potentially disruptive applications in diverse areas including biosensing, biocomputing, biomanufacturing and biotherapies. Dec 05 2019 13.10 - 13.50 Academics Unplugged - Dr Baojun Wang Lunchtime research talks, open to all. This week: Engineering Biology: programming cells to compute, sense and manufacture with Dr Baojun Wang from the School of Bilogical Sciences. Murchison House Lecture Theatre G.26, King's Buildings, Edinburgh. Academics Unplugged
