Frequently asked questions about the admissions test. How should I prepare for the test(s)? Please choose a time when you will not be disturbed as you can take the test only once, and you must do it all at one time. When taking the test, you must not use any outside help (such as other people, textbooks, notes, internet, etc.). This is a test of your ability. Please view the sample content before attempting the tests (see above). Do I need any equipment with me when I take the test(s)? We recommend that you have a pen, paper and calculator ready to use when you sit the test. How long do I have to complete the test(s)? You can take these tests online. You can email us - see 'How do I access the admissions test?' above - when you are ready to take the test and we will send you the information you need. You will have a two week period to complete the test(s). How many questions are in the test(s)? There are 20 questions in the test(s). How much time do you get to complete the test(s)? You get 90 minutes to take each test. What if I don’t know all of the answers? We are aware that some of the questions may be on topics that you have not covered in high school. Please do not worry about this – just do the best that you can on the questions that you have covered. What do I do if I have technical issues during the test? If you have technical/internet problems while you are taking the test, please close all browser windows then reopen and try to log in again. If this does not restore your session, please email us and title it ‘Problems with Admissions Test’, detailing your username and the problem and we will respond as soon as possible. Can I take the tests more than once? No, you will only be able to attempt the test for each subject once. Where do I find out how I have scored in the test(s)?
